Somalia: Uhuru – African Governments Must Share Intelligence Reports On Alshabaab

The Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta said African governments must share intelligence reports on Alshabaab so that Alshabaab can be defeated.
 
President Uhuru was speaking at t workshop in Mombasa held for heads from 13 eastern African countries. He laid emphasis that if no new strategy is not found the war against the group cannot succeed. President Uhuro pointed out a serious concern on terror groups, internet hackers, drug dealers, those who transfer funds to terror groups and those who trade elephant tusks. “We have felt that painful fear in the past few years. It is not up to one country or region”. Uhuru said.
 
On the other hand, the Minister for Internal Security Minister, Joseph Ole Lenku pointed out the need for the police chiefs of the eastern African countries to cooperate.
