This collection of resources, known as the African Elephant Library (AEL), is a joint project between Save the Elephants and the African Elephant Specialist Group (AfESG) of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN/SSC). It encompasses a wide range of topics related to African elephants, such as their biology, ecology, and management. The primary purpose of this extensive reference list is to aid the efforts of different groups including researchers, field staff, resource managers, conservationists, academics, and the general public.
