Elephants are being killed because conflict with people is intensifying.

Your gift could save an elephant’s life, and protect a family’s livelihood by supporting farmers to get the tools they need to safely keep elephants away from their crops and home.

From building natural barriers with chillies and beehive fences, to planting crops that elephants don’t like to eat, there are over 80 effective methods helping to reduce conflict and encourage harmonious coexistence.

Without practical support for communities to coexist with elephants, the crisis will escalate out of control, risking the loss of these intelligent animals that are so vital to our ecosystem.

WHAT YOUR GIFT COULD DO FOR ELEPHANTS

All gifts made before 31 December 2024 (up to a total value of £79,000) will be tripled, thanks to an anonymous donor, who will match each £ with another two ££ to protect wild elephants. Meaning your gift will go three times as far.

Donations will support communities living alongside elephants with STE’s Human-Elephant Coexistence Toolbox methods, and power all the important projects that are helping to create peaceful coexistence between elephants and people.

Your gift will go far – 91% of your gift will go directly towards research and protection of wild elephants.
