Gaborone — The police have arrested two men aged 22 and 53 years in connection with two different incidents of unlawful possession of government trophy and hunting without a license.
According to a press release, the two men were arrested at Machaneng on October 22 after they were found in possession of two elephant tusks.
The release further states that other three men were arrested at Central Kalahari Game Reserve on October 29 after there were found in possession of biltong suspected to be game meat.
All the five suspects are to appear before the magistrate courts while police investigations are still underway.
