Pete is a purpose-driven entrepreneur and former BBC news cameraman with over 20 years of experience building ventures that tackle global challenges. A graduate of Harvard Business School, Pete has worked extensively across Africa and the Middle East, establishing innovative communications networks, including the first mobile network in South Sudan, and leading large-scale projects for the UN and NGOs. Pete is the founder and CEO of E2G FOOD, a global social enterprise that delivers scalable, transparent, and locally-led solutions to malnutrition through nutrient-dense food bars and spirulina microfarms. His work reflects a deep belief in dignity, local empowerment, and sustainability. Pete’s lifelong connection to Africa, combined with his passion for innovation and impact, underpins his continued support for Save the Elephants as an Elder and advocate for long-term ecological and community resilience.
