Today we had the misfortune of getting a puncture in what can only be described as an inconvenient place. On the one side were buffalo, on the other elephants. It was only David and myself in the car so following his lead we began to change the tyre.
Luckily the elephants that we were next to are the remarkably friendly Artists family. They simply came up, had a sniff and then allowed us to continue with our work. As for the buffalos, they didn’t appear to notice. Two animals that you don’t want to meet on foot and both seemed to be either too amicable or too lazy to live up to their reputations.
