Summary

This study analyzed 10 years of movement data from 43 collared elephants in Kenya’s Laikipia-Samburu ecosystem to assess seasonal impacts on home range size. Using AKDE, we found home ranges were larger in the wet season, with females staying closer to rivers. These findings inform conservation planning amid climate change.
