Summary

This study used a structured decision-making approach to assess future land-use options in Kenya’s Central Highlands. Engaging 51 stakeholders across six groups, we found consensus on habitat restoration and water management despite initial differences. This approach demonstrates how diverse stakeholders can align on conservation goals, aiding effective planning.
