Abraham Lesalon is a dedicated conservationist with extensive experience in natural resource management, community engagement, and field coordination. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Range Management from the University of Nairobi.

Before joining Save the Elephants, Abraham worked with various organizations, including the African Conservation Center(ACC), where he empowered women’s groups in sustainable enterprises and led invasive species eradication efforts. He has also collaborated with USAID Nawiri and other organizations, focusing on food security, resilience, and gender inclusion among pastoralist communities.

At Save the Elephants, Abraham plays a key role in mitigating human-elephant conflict in northern Kenya. His expertise in community-based conservation, data collection, and participatory rural approaches helps foster coexistence between local communities and wildlife.
