Kenneth Kipkurui is the Research Centre Manager at Save the Elephants, where he oversees the operations and administration of remote research facilities that support world-class scientific research and conservation.
With over 14 years of experience managing field operations, research support services, logistics, infrastructure, and multidisciplinary teams, he has built a career ensuring that researchers can work safely, efficiently, and effectively in challenging remote environments.
Prior to joining STE, Kenneth served as Field Operations Manager at the Turkana Basin Institute, where he managed two remote research campuses. His broader experience spans leadership roles in international research and development organizations, managing donor-funded programmes, operational systems, stakeholder partnerships, and community engagement.
